Daughters of the King

Labrynth walking

The Order of the Daughters of the King® is an order for women who are communicants of the Episcopal Church. Daughters of the King are women and girls between the ages of seven and one hundred and seven who desire a closer walk with the Lord. These women are both lay and ordained, who are strengthened through the discipline of a Rule of Life, and are supported through the companionship of our sisters. They are all at different stages of their Christian journey – some have just begun and some have been on this path for a long time. Nevertheless, no matter where they are on their sacred journeys, their primary goal is the same – to know Jesus Christ and to make Him known to others.
A Daughter pledges herself to a life-long program of prayer, service and evangelism. She receives support in this commitment from a worldwide community of like-minded women. In solidarity with one another, all Daughters everywhere make the same promises upon their admission to the Order:
The Mission of the Order
The Mission of the Order is the extension of Christ’s Kingdom through Prayer, Service and Evangelism.
Vision Statement of the Order
Empowered by the Holy Spirit, our vision as Daughters of the King is to know Jesus Christ, to make Him known to others, and to become reflections of God’s love throughout the world.

Daughters of Unity Chapter, St. Paul, MN
The women of Holy Apostles were empowered to continue to gather, study scriptures, support each other, pray and be of service to Christ in the church and our community. With the help of Hanh Tran, who had introduced the women to the Order of Daughters of the King; a group of women decided to form and start their discernment and formation study in November 2014 to January 2015. Our Chapter, Daughters of Unity was instituted at Holy Apostles on April 19, 2015 with 13 daughters and a Chaplain, Rev. Letha Wilson-Barnard. Now, Rev. Bao Moua is the Chaplain for the chapter. In 2016, we admitted two new daughters to our chapter.
We gather once a month to study scriptures, support each other, share daily prayer and be of service to Christ in the church and community. We also go away for a yearly retreat to renew ourselves.
Upcoming Meetings/Events
• Meeting second Saturday of each month.
